Norfolk State’s Robert Jones invited to HBCU Coaches Clinic

Norfolk State men’s basketball head coach Robert Jones will join some of the top coaches at Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCUs) in Atlanta, Ga. next month to provide education and guidance to up-and-comers in the profession.
 
HBCU All-Stars LLC announced the organization’s first ever HBCU All-Stars Coaches Clinic this week, taking place at the George State Convocation Center on S. The event will feature teaching from some of the best coaches in the MEAC, SWAC, CIAA, SIAC, headlined by two-time MEAC Coach of the Year Jones.
 
“It is really important to keep shining the national spotlight on our HBCU basketball movement across the country,” said Travis L. Williams, LLC Founder/CEO. “My company HBCU All-Stars LLC looks forward to a first-class event with some outstanding HBCU coaches who have demonstrated a high level of talent, hard work, commitment, coaching, recruiting, X&O’s and winning on a national level.”
 
The free event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with registration required to attend. Sign-ups can be found at HBCUAllStarsLLC.com.
 
Jones has participated in multiple coaching clinics this season, sharing his wisdom and experiences with aspiring coaches. He spoke at the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Championship Basketball Clinic as well as the 2023 NCAA Basketball Coaches Academy in May.
